WEST VIRGINIA’S LARGEST AGING SEMINAR & EXHIBIT PROGRAM

Maturing in WV is an educational experience for attendees age 50 plus offering an opportunity to meet and talk with experts representing all aspects of aging. Three components make up the event; stage presentations by professionals discussing medicine, legal and governmental benefits. Second area - exhibits and demonstrations by vendors from all areas covering this age group, and third, a series of separate workshops on finance, care giving, Hospice and long term care.

One third of West Virginia’s population is over 50 and even in this sluggish economy aging related products and services remains a multi-billion dollar industry. Featured speakers for this new event are leaders in the health and professional community; Charleston psychologist David Clayman, Drs. Jim Griffith and Todd Goldberg Internists from WVU Charleston, Urologist Dr. J. P. Tierney, financial advisor Will Carter, Parkersburg attorney Jerry Townsend, Esq. and Terry Cunningham from the WV Presbytery. Workshops will include Long Term Care, Hospice Continuum of Care, The Caregiver Role and AARP will present several breakouts on Finance, Senior Fraud and Medicare.
